Basil Read is a level (3) 110% BBBEE Contributor and Value Adding Supplier, Total to 135% BBBEE Contributor. The company has always held the importance of transformation and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment in high regard and continues to make this a key focus area in all of the Basil Read Group’s areas of operation.

Having successfully obtained its BBBEE objectives the Basil Read Group has now turned its attention towards other elements that comprise true Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment such as Skills Development, Employment Equity and Management Control, Enterprise Development, and Socio-Economic Development.
