Kusile Power Station
Basil Read, in a Joint Venture with Group Five, Stefanutti Stocks and WBHO, has been awarded the Kusile Power Station Main Civil Works by Eskom. The contract value is R2.9 billion and the Joint Venture was given access to the site on 8 December 2008 for the purposes of planning, piling tests and soil investigation, with full access granted in January 2009.
