Safety, Health, Environment and Quality form the foundation of all Basil Read’s operations. In January 2008 Basil Read appointed a dedicated Group Environmental Officer to achieve its goal of developing a sound environmental program and achieving ISO 14001 accreditation.


In addition, the Basil Read Group employs a dedicated group of full-time SHEQ practitioners, as part of the management team in each division. Basil Read is therefore able to provide its clients with the highest levels of quality, professionalism and excellence on each individual project from start to finish. This ensures that Basil Read clients see the organisation as a reliable supplier with reduced risk, increased productivity, a secure investment, and formidable construction partner.
